A well established Salsa event has been running for about three years now - everyone visited us knows that this is the smartest dance place, and the best music without any doubt with the best dancers - and it's all FREE!!! FREE Absolute Beginners Salsa & Merengue/Bachata classes: 8:30pm-9:30pm, FREE Salsa, Bachata and Merengue Disco/Party Night: 9:30pm-12:30am! (three hours non-stop)! This is a busy and a great monthly event where you meet new dancers every time - an exciting dance venue. You can come in even much earlier and just enjoy yourself at the O'este's excellent bar or even restaurant, as the place is open all day!. The bar is open throughout the day and evening. You can join the lessons, use the disco or just watch others dancing in a relaxing & friendly atmosphere at the bar areas. No partners necessary. What is on offer: This is our monthly Salsa Night for everyone ranging from absolute learners to experienced dancers - when O'este gets full of Salsa dancers from all over the Lancashire/Northwest; Ormskirk, Southport, Liverpool, Wirral, Preston, Yorkshire, and as far Manchester! Hottest non-stop Salsa, Bachata, KIzomba & Merengue. We also have Latin Studio dance students from various locations who would love to dance with you and partner you! Come along and dance to the Hottest Salsa, Have a drink or even a meal/snack (if needed), and meet our friendly clients and make many new friends. Remember that most people come on their own to our places, so you won't need a patner if you want to come on your own. Don't miss this great dance night. We also have free Absolute Beginners/Taster Salsa (New York/L.A & Cuban), Bachata & Merengue classes from 8.30pm to 9.30pm then followed by our non-stop Salsa, Merengue, Bachata & Kizomba disco. You can come with or without a partner, and remember whoever you are, you probably come across someone you already know! Facilities: Excelent size dance floor, Bar as well as restaurant facilities (only if required - you don't have to use them). Free car parking facilities of the restaurant and outside the restaurant. O'este is less than 1 minute walk from Ormskirk Main Bus Station, and only two minutes from Ormskirk Train Station. Other information: Smartly dressed please. No booking needed, just turn up. You don't need to have a partner, most people come on their own. It doesn't matter if you miss a class. What to wear: If you wondering what shoes to wear, we recommend you to avoid rubber sole shoes as they grip the floor too much and could put too much strain on your joints causing injuries etc. Wear something with a hard sole or if you can afford leather soles are the best, or even consider a pair of dance shoes if you can afford it, but this is not necessary and if you like just use the guidelines above. Training shoes are not suitable as they grip the floor and stop you doing turns. As for your clothes, wear something comfortable and light and avoid loose items that may catch to something or your partner as you dance such as sharp rings, chains etc. We also have a place for you to change if you wish too.

Chapel Gallery is only half minute walk from Ormskirk bus station, and Just about 2 minutes walk from Ormskirk Train Station, Access to our studio is through the door at the end of the path on the right hand side of the Chapel Gallery building. The other main door to Gallery is closed in the evenings. Around the Chapel Gallery building you will find the best restaurants, bars , take away and so on. So don't worry if you have to travel from far distances - many people do! Days & Times Open Every Tuesday (except last Tuesday of month when we have FREE night at O'este). We cover all major styles such as New York, L.A & Cuban Style We suggest that everyone arrives at 8:00pm to take advantage of all classes/warm-up moves/steps - you only pay one fee and you can attend all classes. What is on offer: You will learn Salsa (New York, L.A., Free Style to include Cuban moves). Bachata, Merengue and Kizomba. Absolute Beginners/Beginners & Improvers/Intermediate. You can come with or without a partner. Facilities: Excellent dance floor Large Free car park half of a minute walk from Chapel Gallery - This is the Bus station carpark which is free in the evenings when you need it, coming out of the Chapel Gallery the car park entrance can be seen on the left. There are also free parking spaces opposite the Chapel Gallery. Excellent and newly refurbished facilities and services inside the building. We are only a few minute walk from Ormskirk Train Station. There are also a few bars and restaurants around our building, where you can relax before coming to Chapel Gallery. Other information: No booking needed, just turn up for any session you like. These classes are designed as drop in sessions so there is no need to book in advance, just turn up, have fun and enjoy yourself.
